Supporting small local business owners is more important now than ever.
Julie Lowrance with Frames Etc. is one of those business owners dealing with the struggle of having to shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are open by appointment only and we are taking phone orders,” Lowrance said. “We are doing everything we can to get people what they need while trying to stay in business.
“But we are being very cautious.”
Frames Etc. has been in business for 36 years and has experienced the economic highs and lows.
But this is different.
Lowrance isn’t just worried about keeping her own doors open, she is concerned about others in the local business community struggling through the same financial hardship – and now she is trying to help.
“We are selling T-shirts for $25 and will give $10 from each sale to the small business of the customer’s choice,” she said. “It just can’t be us.”
The T-shirts come in grey or blue, sizes small to 2X, and say “Support Local 76401.”
“The only way to get through this scary and unprecedented time is to work together,” Lowrance said.
You can place an order now through April 19 by visiting www.framesetc.net.
