A round of applause for these SHS students who made big improvements to the Bosque River Trail.
Stephenville High School seniors Chloe Krause and Ryan Hess did a thing.
A really, really cool thing for their community that will promote health and fitness while keeping the Bosque River Trail litter-free.
The Ford Leadership Scholars raised a whopping $11,800 for the Cowboy Capital Cans project, which placed trash cans every half-mile along the trail.
The duo’s fundraising effort also raised enough to install stationary workout equipment at the Collins Street Trailhead.
“This project would not have been possible without all of our donors. Everyone we approached was so warm and welcoming to us,” Chloe told Beneath the Surface News. “Every donor on our list exemplifies Stephenville to a tee.”
