Another arctic blast is heading to North Texas. Here’s what forecasters say you can expect.

‘Tis the season for cold temperatures and North Texas is still riding the weather roller coaster.

Don’t be fooled by today’s warmup, things are about to change with another arctic blast blowing in overnight.

Forecasters say there is a possibility of snow flurries Monday night and into Tuesday, but who knows if that will actually happen.

(On the flip side, we could get 10 inches of snow, you just never know in Texas.)

But one thing is certain, it’s about to get downright cold.

Here’s what WFAA’s Pete Delkus is predicting:

SATURDAY, JAN. 18: High 48, low 38

SUNDAY: High 37, low 24

MONDAY: High 34, low 22

TUESDAY: High 36, low 23

WEDNESDAY: High 42, low 24

THURSDAY: High 45, low 28

Things will start warming up on Friday with a high of 50.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT THOSE PETS

I don’t have to remind you to bring your pets indoors during this cold snap, but if you have room in your home - and heart – consider fostering a dog.

The Erath County Humane Society has about 25 outdoor kennels, and although some of those dogs can be moved inside, there isn’t room for all of them.

Fostering is easy.

Simply go to the shelter, give them your address and copy of your driver’s license and they will help find the right dog for your home.

The shelter is open from 2-6 p.m. Friday and 12-5 p.m. Saturday.
