Be the hostess with the mostest: The fabulous Brandy Ice makes its return this holiday season.
It appears that I am set to be the hostess with the mostest for the second year in a row thanks to this fancy winter cocktail I mastered last Christmas.
The Brandy Ice.
If you’ve never enjoyed one of these, you’re missing out.
This holiday cocktail made with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream quickly became a fan favorite in our house last year.
Before our lives erupt into happy chaos next week with the arrival of our kids for Christmas, we decided to make a batch for ourselves and settle in for a quiet night.
I’m not kidding when I say these things are so good, they’re dangerous.
This festive cocktail is perfect for a crowd and is once again on our Christmas Eve menu.
Here’s the recipe to make Brandy Ice for two:
1 ½ cups vanilla ice cream (I used Blue Bell of course.)
2 tbsp brandy
2 tsp crème de cocoa
2 tsp Godiva chocolate liqueur
Let the ice cream soften for a bit. Place everything in a blender, pour into a pretty glass and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Then sit next to your Christmas tree and sip.
This next version is for a crowd. (It serves six.)
½ gallon Blue Bell vanilla ice cream
½ to 2/3 cup Brandy
1/2 cup Creme de Cacao
1/2 cup Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
To add a little fancy to these drinks, top with whipped cream or a cute cookie!
