Because, banana pudding.

Texans love a good banana pudding. And if the recipe is a simple one, that’s even tastier.

This mouth-watering dessert screams summer and you are going to love it.


WHAT’S IN IT

2 cups milk

½ cup sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1 egg

2 teaspoons vanilla

Vanilla wafers

3 bananas

HOW TO MAKE IT

In a saucepan, heat milk and flour. Stirring constantly as it thickens add egg.

When thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Line pie pan with vanilla wafers and sliced bananas. Pour half the pudding over it.

Add another layer of vanilla wafers and bananas and pour remaining pudding over.

Top with crumbled vanilla wafers!
