Bring these festive and tasty cranberry meatballs to your next holiday party.

I’m moving a little slow today because there was a lot of celebrating (and wine) at a Christmas party we went to last night.

There was also a lot of delicious food, including this pretty batch of cranberry meatballs I brought.

I wanted to bring something festive so when I stumbled upon this recipe, I gave it a go.

Making it was a cinch and the recipe is perfect for a crowd.

WHAT YOU NEED

1 can (14 ounces) jellied cranberry sauce

1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 package (32 ounces) frozen fully cooked home-style meatballs, thawed. (I used pre-made meatballs purchased from HEB.)

The Husband and I were feeling as festive as those cranberries we brought.

HOW TO MAKE IT

In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients (except meatballs) and stir until sugar is dissolved.

Place meatballs in crockpot and cover with sauce; cook on low for 3-4 hours.

I sprinkled the top with parsley flakes to add some green prettiness.

Enjoy!
