‘Dangerously’ cold weather making its way to North Texas. Here’s what you can expect.

As the first day of spring inches its way closer, Old Man Winter is tightening his grip.
My favorite forecaster, WFAA’s Pete Delkus, says North Texas is expecting the most frigid air of the season this week, describing it as “dangerously cold.”
He says temperatures will start falling Tuesday night, making for slick roads on Wednesday with a morning windchill of -4.
Thursday won’t get much warmer with highs expected to reach 39 and a windchill dropping temps to -1.
The Erath County Humane Society is in urgent need of foster families this week.
If you can temporarily house a pup and keep them warm, stop by the local shelter at 891 East Road in Stephenville or give them a call at 254-965-3247.
And if cold weather isn’t your thing, there’s good news.
Temperatures are expected to rebound next week with highs in the 60s and 70s.
