Deputies seize 9 electronic devices from home of juvenile suspected of ‘unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material.’
Officials with the Erath County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the possibility that a male juvenile has circulated “intimate visual material” involving an underage girl.
Deputies executed a search warrant early Wednesday morning at a home on Rowland Street in Stephenville, Chief Deputy Jeremy Woodruff told Beneath the Surface News.
“We seized nine electronic devices and will be getting search warrants on each device to see what evidence we have,” he said.
Woodruff said the department was contacted by the parents of the alleged victim and could not comment further on the case pending the ongoing investigation.
“We are still trying to get the full story on what happened,” Woodruff said.
As of Wednesday afternoon, no charges in the case had been filed.
Erath County Attorney Bethany Espinoza said she reviewed the search warrant before it was executed, but could not comment on the case.
