Did a tornado hit Erath County? Strong storm leaves wake of damage.

Crews are working to clear debris from a strong storm that blew through Erath County Saturday morning.

The Husband and I were sleeping pretty soundly when we were jolted awake about 4:30 a.m. Saturday by the sound of very strong winds rattling the house.

We could hear the squeak of our outdoor furniture being blown across the patio, then heard the sound of glass breaking and felt a rush of air through the house.

We thought the roof had blown off.

Moments later, we discovered that our dining room window at the front of the house had been completely blown out.

There are several reports of damage across Erath County.

The Husband and I took a drive down 3025 and this is what we found.
