District attorney files motion to dismiss case against suspect charged with armed robbery.

Erath County District Attorney Alan Nash has filed a motion to dismiss the case against Nila Sue (Nikki) Sechrist who was charged with aggravated robbery in the November 2021 holdup at CEFCO.

The DA’s office filed the motion on June 23, citing the need for “further investigation.”

Nash said he could not comment on the case at this time.

The suspect was caught on surveillance camera wearing a flowered hoodie and carrying a rifle.

Sechrist had been held on a $250,000 bond at the Erath County Jail since her arrest in early June, but has since been released.
