Make plans to hop over to Newton’s Saddlerack for Easter brunch.
The downtown Stephenville restaurant is now taking reservations from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for Sunday, April 20.
Chef Mike Newton told Beneath the Surface News there will be a limited offering from the regular brunch menu, as well as Easter specials like chicken fry and waffles, stacked enchiladas and eggs, surf and turf, cast iron pan seared steak, wagyu filets, biscuits and gravy and Texas-size pancakes.
The chef will also feature “the ranch hand,” a dish that includes Newton’s famous chicken fried top sirloin topped with jalapeno cream gravy, two eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes.
And when it comes to cocktails, think bloody mary, orange, pineapple, cranberry, mango and grapefruit mimosas and sangria.
The brunch will also feature gospel tunes by Molly Kate Gaynor.
