The performance also earned her a $500 bond from Frost Bank, Justin Boots gift certificate, belt buckle and trophy.

Parker, a first grader at Hico Elementary, is the daughter of Wesley and Brandi Wood.

In 2024, she was one of the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo’s mutton bustin’ winners.

She also won Moo-La’s mutton bustin’ competition and the Old Settler’s Reunion Rodeo in Hico last year.

Mutton bustin' is a popular rodeo event where children ride sheep.
