Grand jury indicts man accused of possession of child pornography (again).
An Erath County grand jury has indicted 51-year-old David Andrew Skoog on four counts of possession or promotion of child pornography and one count of possession of a substance (enhanced), all second-degree felony offenses.
According to Skoog’s arrest affidavit, the Erath County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Skoog had allegedly uploaded 23 digital files containing photos and videos of suspected child pornography.
One Philippine video titled “The Child,” showed a pre-pubescent girl being sexually assaulted by a man, according to the affidavit.
Other videos depicted male and female children under the age of 18 in various sexual acts.
This isn’t the first time Skoog has been in trouble for possessing this garbage.
He was arrested in 2012, and later convicted for possession of child pornography in Bexar County and served three years in prison.
Skoog is being held at the Erath County Jail on a $220,000 bond.
