Get your faux plants looking new again with this easy homemade cleaner.

Updated: May 18

If you have any type of artificial plant, this super simple homemade spray will clean and have them looking new again.

I have several artificial plants inside and out and this works for really dirty ones.

 HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

● 1/2 cup water

● 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol

● Spray bottle

● Microfiber cloth

Mix ingredients in spray bottle and shake gently before each spray.

Simply spray the artificial plant leaves you want to clean then buff with a microfiber cloth. That’s it!

For a more powerful clean, dampen the cloth before scrubbing.

Another common household ingredient for cleaning faux plants is vinegar, but I have used vinegar and rubbing alcohol for all the artificial plants at my house.

Rubbing alcohol cleans better and removes more dirt. It also provided more of a shine to the leaves!
