Heat relief: Dowell Ace Hardware donates fans to Erath County Sheriff’s Office for those in need.
I don’t have to tell you how hot it is out there.
With a string of 100-degree temperatures and no relief in sight, the Erath County Sheriff’s Office is now poised to give away fans to residents in need.
Sheriff Matt Coates said he is thankful to Dowell Ace Hardware for the generous donation.
“Anyone who needs one of these fans can stop by the sheriff’s office and pick one up or give us a call and we will deliver it,” Coates said.
So, if you are struggling with this oppressive heat, don’t wait. There is a limited supply of fans available.
