My quest for younger, healthier looking skin continues.

At 54 (almost 55), I’m battling years of sun damage and all of the fun things that come with getting older.

But my vanity prevents me from giving in to saggy skin, jowls, thin lips and age spots.

I’m fighting, friends. And fighting hard.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve concentrated on taking care of my face by trying a variety of products that promise to reverse the signs of aging.

Some have helped, but not enough to keep me from trying something new.

Most of the products I have tried are on the higher end of the spectrum, but I have never used medical grade skincare until a couple of months ago, when I took the leap and invested in a line of ZO Skin Health by Zein Obagi.

I hesitated to buy it because, well, it’s not cheap.

The anti-aging line that I have been using.

But in February, after a visit to Amy Roach at Revision Aesthetics & Wellness for my routine Dysport, I spoke with her about the benefits of ZO skin care and took the plunge.

I came home with an anti-aging pack ($240, but $347 value) that included complexion renewal pads, exfoliating polish (which is my absolute favorite thing in the world and smells like heaven), exfoliating cleanser, daily power defense and growth factor serum.

I have used the products every morning and night since then and the changes to my complexion are astounding.  

They are so dramatic, in fact, that The Husband even mentioned it.

And seriously, what husband ever comments on the size of his wife’s pores? But mine did.

Here’s the thing: After two months of using ZO, my skin is noticeably firmer, more radiant, hydrated and smooth as silk.

I will never, ever switch skin care lines again. I am hooked.

I know it’s on the expensive side, but if you are serious about getting your face looking its very best, the money is worth it.
