If you've ever wanted to learn more about Stephenville, you should apply for this leadership class.

The Stephenville Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for Leadership Stephenville, a program that teaches participants about the city they live and work in.
I completed the course in 2008, and not only did I form long-lasting friendships, I was inspired to get more involved in my community.
The nine-month course is fun and informative!
“The mission of the program is to expand understanding of leadership, broaden the knowledge of our greater community infrastructure and foster the responsibility of increased involvement in volunteer associations, neighborhoods and the community as a whole,” the Chamber stated in an email to Beneath the Surface News.
“A series of nine full-day sessions offer learning opportunities and challenge participants to become actively involved in building a better tomorrow for Stephenville.
“Each class works together on a project that benefits the community. The program creates an awareness of community resources and needs while building relationships and enhancing leadership skills of participants.”
The deadline to apply for the 2022-23 class is Aug. 4.
