It’s time to sign up for the 12th annual Toys ‘Fore’ Kids golf tourney. Deadline to register is Oct. 12.

The 12th annual Toys “Fore” Kids golf tournament and fundraiser is just around the corner and it’s time to get your team together.
The unique event, sponsored by the Men’s Golf Association, pairs golfing with giving and is just what you need to get into the holiday spirit.
“I am proud to say that in the 11 past years we have donated a little over $70,000 to the Stephenville Optimist Club and local angel tree projects, with just over $50,000 of that coming in only the last five years,” event coordinator Jason Smith told Beneath the Surface News.
“This event grows every year and it's something I'm proud to be a part of.”
The cost to enter the 4-person scramble is $30 plus a $25 new, unwrapped toy (per person). Cart rental is included and you must be signed up by Friday, Oct. 25.
The event begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Legends Country Club in Stephenville.
All toys will be donated to Toys for Kids of Erath County and will be distributed before Christmas.
