Larry Joe Taylor has been quarantined for too long. And now he’s hosting a summer camp for adults.

It’s unlike any summer camp you have ever attended; one designed specifically for music lovers who need a break from quarantine and are ready for a little fun.
Enter Larry Joe Taylor.
Taylor and his team are hosting “Summer Camp” June 12-13 at Melody Mountain Ranch.
The two-day event will include performances by LJT, Davin James, Dave Perez, Courtney Patton, Jarrod Morris and Matt Boggs.
“I’ve been quarantined too long and I can’t wait to play some songs for actual people,” Larry Joe told BTS News. “My dog is sick of hearing them.”
This event, however, will look different from other past events at Melody Mountain Ranch, the site of LJT’s annual Texas Music Festival and Rhymes & Vines.
“Tickets and camping are limited, and the entire event will be outdoors,” he said.
There will be other COVID-related measures in place and social distancing guidelines campers and the staff will be required to follow.
Here are a few:
• Marked off seating areas
• Cashless bar and food purchases
• Single-use plastic cups
• Bar staff will wear gloves and masks
• Over 20 hand sanitizing stations
• Expanded campsites
There will be no dancing allowed at the front of the stage or backstage access.
Campers will also be asked to refrain from spreading the love, so no hugging, hand-shaking or high-fiving with anyone not in your group.
But you can smile at anyone you want.
One-day tickets are $25 and two-day tickets are $40.
You can purchase tickets or reserve a campsite at larryjoetaylor.com.
