Lea Contreras promoted to vice president of the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce.
While Lea Contreras was busy helping put together the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce’s biggest event of the year – its annual banquet held last week at City Hall at City Limits - news of her big promotion within the organization was quietly announced.
Lea, who served as the Chamber’s member services director for the past four years, has been promoted to vice president.
“Lea has been instrumental in providing valuable benefits to members, continually improving operational processes and nurturing volunteer engagement,” Chamber president July Danley announced in a press release to members. “Along with onboarding new members and planning member events, Lea also uses her creative talent to design attractive marketing pieces to promote our members and their services.”
Lea, who is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, began working for the Chamber in 2018.
“Lea is passionate about connecting our members to resources and relationships to help their business thrive and we appreciate the many hats she wears on a daily basis,” July said. “Along with helping our team improve efficiencies, increase membership value, and build new relationships in the community - Lea just makes everything more fun!”
