It’s just three weeks into the new year and it’s already time for another holiday.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, or MLK Day, takes place every year on the third Monday in January, which means there will be some local closures happening in Erath County on Jan. 20. 

Here’s a look at what will be closed in honor of the civil rights activist on what would have been his 96th birthday.

·       U.S. Postal Service offices – closed

·       Erath County offices – closed

·       City of Stephenville offices – closed

·       Stephenville ISD - closed

Not every school district, however, is closed on Monday, so you’ll want to check your district’s website for closures.
