Need an unputdownable thriller? Then dive straight into Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier.

I was in between books.

I had already finished Beneath the Book Club’s May read (None of this is True) and needed something new to read until June’s pick is announced.

When I found Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier, I was a little skeptical at first because the storyline involves a kidnapped child and that’s just something that makes my stomach hurt.

But the national bestseller rates a 4.2 on Goodreads and is a Best of #BookTok so I downloaded it to my Kindle and was hooked from the start.

Jennifer Hillier weaves an incredible tale of suspense that takes you into the lives of Marin and Derek, college sweethearts whose perfect world is shattered when their son Sebastian is kidnapped.

A year later, the case grows cold, publicity has faded and the marriage is in shambles.

When Marin discovers that Derek is having an affair with a younger woman with pink hair, she goes into beast mode.

And that’s when things get good.

Little Secrets has some gut-wrenching moments, but the twisty thrill of what comes next will have you turning pages late into the night.

This was a quick read – 342 pages – and I whipped through it in two days.

It’s a good one.
