Pet of the week: This playful girl has been at the Erath County Humane Society for 7 months.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Angelina, a two to three-year-old pit mix.
“She is a very sweet lady that begs for attention and loves every minute of it,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She loves playing with toys and knows how to fetch, but sometimes wants to play tug of war with the ball or rope.”
Angelina is very energetic and likes to go on walks and would love a big yard to run around in.
She walks well on a leash, but when you are walking her, be prepared in case there are distractions.
While Angelina is people-friendly, she has a high prey drive and must be the only animal in the house.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.
She has been at the shelter since June.
Ornament is a two to three-year-old male domestic short-hair.
“This handsome boy is very sweet and loves attention,” Serena said. “He likes being held and getting tummy rubs, which is rare for a cat.”
Ornament doesn't really care about toys or wet food and does well with his litter box.
He is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
