Police seek public’s help identifying convenience store burglars who fled in this white SUV.
The Stephenville Police Department is asking the public for help identifying the burglars who broke into Discount Mart on Lingleville Road early Tuesday morning.
Captain James Gresham said the convenience store’s alarm sounded about 2:30 a.m. and that officers were on scene within two minutes.
But the thieves made quick work and were able to get their grubby little hands on cash and cigarettes before disappearing in less than a minute.
The store’s grainy camera footage captured images of the suspects using a yellow crow bar to gain entry through the front door and fleeing in a white SUV that looks a lot like a Suburban, Gresham said.
