Prime Metal Buildings & Components announces major expansion of its retail and manufacturing footprint.
The growth includes the opening of Prime’s sixth branch - a new 24,000 sq. ft. retail store in Weatherford, equipped for manufacturing custom sheets and trim on-site with a 24-hour turnaround time.
Additionally, Prime’s Dublin retail branch will relocate to Stephenville, making it the company’s flagship branch and largest retail location at 48,000 sq. ft.
The addition of the Weatherford branch marks another milestone in Prime’s growth, following the successful launch of its Amarillo location in 2024.
Weatherford’s growing market and strategic location make it an ideal addition to Prime’s expanding footprint, allowing the company to better serve North Central Texas customers.
“Our expansion into Weatherford and relocation to Stephenville is a testament to the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for top-notch metal buildings in the region,” said Austin Brown, CEO and co-owner of Prime.
“Repurposing the Dublin facility to increase fabrication capacity positions us for long-term growth and allows us to deliver faster, more efficient solutions to our customers.
“We remain committed to providing unmatched service and quality in every aspect of our operations.”
While Prime’s national headquarters and primary manufacturing divisions will remain in Dublin, shifting the retail store to Stephenville will enhance accessibility for customers and allow Prime to expand product offerings in the larger facility.
Of Prime’s 250-member workforce, 18 employees will transition to the new Stephenville location.
The move will create new jobs in Dublin, as increased fabrication operations drive additional hiring and economic growth.
Relocating from Dublin to Stephenville allows Prime to repurpose its original Dublin retail store, expanding manufacturing and fabrication operations while further strengthening its position as a leading metal building manufacturer nationwide.
The Weatherford branch is set to open in fall 2025, with the Stephenville branch opening in spring 2026.
Additional details, including grand opening events and customer promotions, will be announced in the coming months.
