Say hi to Sam and Delilah. This sibling duo needs a home where they can stay together.
This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society are Sam and Delilah - a bonded pair of 10-year-old siblings.
“They are both super sweet and love attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “They have been outside most of their lives, but they spent a lot of time inside at their last home.”
Delilah loves a comfy bed and wouldn't mind being inside all the time, but Sam prefers the great outdoors.
“They are good on a leash, housebroken and dog friendly,” Serena said. “They both tend to be wanderers and need a fenced in yard.”
They are spayed and neutered, partially vaccinated and microchipped.
They are also heartworm positive, so would need to be treated. Most vets will probably recommend a slow kill treatment because of their age, Serena said.
