Megalodon

This week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society include Megalodon, a one to two-year-old Pit Bull mix.

“He has been with us since October 2021,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. "He loves attention and is very playful, but sometimes play bites, so he would be best in a home with no small children.”

Megalodon is motivated by treats and knows how to sit and walk on a leash.

He is also neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

Zach

Zach is a one to two-year-old female (yes, female) domestic shorthair.

“She has been with us since September of last year,” Serena said. “She is calm and timid, but warms up well. She really enjoys petting and scratches and will meow to let you know she wants more.”

Zach is spayed, fully vaccinated, litter box trained and microchipped.

If you would like to meet Megalodon, Zach or the other 56 dogs and 34 cats that need homes, stop by the animal shelter located at 891 East Road in Stephenville.
