SHS Theatre to perform The Price by Don Zolidis; free public performance takes place Tuesday.

Stephenville High School Theatre will present The Price by Don Zolidis for its 2025 UIL one-act play competition piece.
“This 37-minute show is an adaptation of a Hans Christian Anderson tale about a young mother and her journey to save her young daughter from death,” SHS theatrical design and film coach Mindy McCleskey told Beneath the Surface News.
“This is a brand-new play written by Ms. Zolidis and SHS Theatre is one of the first schools to perform.”
A public performance will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at the high school auditorium.
Admission is free.
The UIL district competition will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 28, at the Stephenville High School auditorium.
