Updated: Nov 2

The time to enter a singing competition benefiting Erath County Habitat for Humanity is now underway, and if you think you’ve got what it takes to win, don’t wait.

The deadline to enter is Nov. 3.

A Voice for Habitat gives performers the exposure they need to break into the music scene with cash prizes and opportunities to meet a casting director and professional musicians.

The competition is open to solo artists, duos and groups in all genres.

This year’s judges will include Shayne Hollinger, Erin Wilde and Andrew Dolan.

The grand prize winner will receive $1,000, fully mastered single recording and one-hour consultation with Cast-O-Matic.

Runner-up will receive $300 and the winner of the People’s Choice award will receive $500.

Live auditions will take place Nov. 16 at Tarleton State University and the final showcase and fundraising event happens Jan. 18.
