Stephenville City Park will be alive with Christmas when Light Up the Night makes its return.

The most magical time of year has arrived and the Erath County United Way is gearing up for its fifth annual Light Up the Night Christmas Celebration.

The festive trail, which includes more than two million lights, will be open from 6-9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Dec. 6 through Dec. 22 at Stephenville City Park.

The 3/4-mile path includes breathtaking holiday displays, a nativity scene, Christmas music, photo opportunities and stations where you can purchase hot cocoa and lots of bling.

ECUW executive director Lisa Scroggins told Beneath the Surface News that Santa will be there every Friday night for pictures and there will be a live performance at 7 p.m. every Saturday.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids (two and under are free) and can be purchased by clicking here or at the gate.

This year’s event will also include food trucks and movies every Sunday night. (Think Rudolph, Frosty and The Grinch.)

Make plans to take the entire family to this wonderful holiday event.
