Stephenville Dance Center collaborates with Ballet Frontier for production of The Nutcracker.

If you’ve been dreaming of Sugar Plum fairies, you’ll love this.

Several dancers from Stephenville Dance Center have auditioned for the professional production of The Nutcracker by Ballet Frontier.

The performances will be held at the Granbury Opera House Nov. 25-27 (that’s the weekend after Thanksgiving).

“This is the fourth year we have collaborated with Ballet Frontier for this production,” Renee Burdick, owner of Stephenville Dance Center, told Beneath the Surface News. “It’s become one of the highlights of our dance year. I have so many amazing memories as a ballerina growing up doing The Nutcracker and I’m thrilled to get to share this Christmas ballet tradition with my students.

“The fact that we get to dance along world class ballerinas makes the experience even more magical!”

Tickets are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks.

Fall registration is currently underway at Stephenville Dance Center.
