Summer vibes: Get poolside with a frosty pina-rita made with these simple ingredients.
I always say that if this writing thing doesn’t work out for me, I’m becoming a bartender.
I found this recipe online and plan to dazzle my friends with it at today’s Fourth of July celebration.
If you like margaritas and the delicious taste of coconut, this pina-rita recipe is for you.
WHAT YOU NEED
Shaker
2 ounces of tequila (I use Hornitos)
2 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces cream of coconut
¾ ounce fresh lime juice
HOW TO MAKE IT
Add all ingredients to the shaker, fill with ice and shake like mad.
Line the rim of your glass with lime and dip it into sugar or salt. (Personally, I’m more of a salty girl.)
Fill your prepared glass with ice and pour in the pina-rita.
The next and final step (and this is important): Submerge yourself into the nearest body of water and sip.
Enjoy!
