Sweet Sassy and Kami-the-kitten are this week's featured pets.
Updated: Sep 24
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Sassy, a five-year-old female Akbash mix.
“This sweet girl is high energy,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She walks well on a leash and is crate-trained. Her previous owner said she is good with kids, but is not dog friendly.”
Sassy loves attention, especially belly rubs.
“She will dramatically flop down to get them,” Serena said.
Sassy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.
She has been at the shelter since February.
Kami is a six to seven-month-old female kitten.
“This beautiful black tabby is very playful,” Serena said. “She is friendly and loves scampering around.”
Kami is tolerant of dogs, but needs a slow introduction.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
The shelter currently has 66 dogs and 51 cats up for adoption.
Does Sassy not meet the criteria to be taken or flown to other rescues and/or shelters in the United States for adoption?
