Tarleton State University’s Wind Ensemble will present “Deep Reverberations” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center auditorium.
The show will feature the repertoire that will be part of a commercial album scheduled for release in 2025 on major music-sharing platforms.
“The album will contain all of the music that will be in the concert,” said Dr. David Robinson, Tarleton’s director of bands. “Many of these selections will be the first commercial recordings done of those pieces.”
Concert selections include “Clutch” by David Andrew Perkins, “A deep reverberation fills with stars” by John Mackey, (lowercase intentional by composer), Florence Price’s “Adoration,” “Danzas by Giovanni Santos, Warren Barker’s “Deir in De” and “Xanadu” by Scott McAllister.
