A new Erath County business set to open in Dublin this weekend is offering shoppers a unique experience and respite from the hustle and bustle of life.

Texas Sage Plant Nursery and Garden Market, located at the corner of Hwy. 377 and Hwy. 6, carries a large selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, yard art, vegetable plants and herbs.

But there’s a lot more to it than that.

“We also sell fountains for gardens and backyards, which are very difficult to find around here,” co-owner Paige Williams told Beneath the Surface News.

Paige owns Texas Sage along with her husband Scott Williams and brother Wes Allen.

Paige and Scott are no strangers to this line of work; the couple also owns WWC Enterprises, a Valley irrigation dealer.

“We have worked with area farmers, ranchers and dairymen for 24 years - and Texas Sage is an extension of that,” Paige said.

Wes has plenty of experience too. He owned a landscape company in Fredericksburg for 15 years before moving to Dublin to join the family venture.

“Wes is a shrub and plant aficionado,” she said.

Paige calls Texas Sage “a labor of love” and said opening a nursery is something she has always wanted to do.

“We have created a really cool vibe here; it’s like an oasis,” she said. “There are lots of plants and water features and music in a beautifully curated setting.

“If you spend an hour to get here, you can spend an hour shopping here.”

Texas Sage also includes a garden market that carries Texas and U.S.-made products like cheese, olive oil, dishes, gifts and home décor.

Texas Sage will open its doors to the public for the first time at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 6.

See you there!
