Spring is in the air and this recipe for chicken avocado burgers makes the perfect lunch or dinner on a sunshine-y day.
Take the experience up a notch and dine al fresco. Makes four servings.
WHAT’S IN IT
36 oz. (raw weight) ground chicken breast
6 oz. avocado
¼ cup diced onion
1 tsp mustard powder
½ tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp cumin
½ cup shredded zucchini
HOW TO MAKE IT
Combine all ingredients except the avocado in large mixing bowl.
Once the spices are thoroughly mixed, gently stir in the avocado and form mixture into four patties.
Grill over medium-high heat for about five to seven minutes on each side, making sure the burgers reach a temperature of 165 degrees.
