It’s two weeks before Christmas and before we fully jump into the holiday indulgences, we are going to make a clean meal with anti-inflammatory ingredients.
But don’t think we are skimping on taste, because it’s good.

WHAT YOU NEED
1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground beef
2 medium sweet potatoes (or russet)
Olive oil
Cinnamon
Arugula (seasoned and dressed)
Lemon
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Sauerkraut
Avocado
HOW TO MAKE IT
Rough chop sweet potato into bite-size pieces; roast at 425 degrees until tender.
Brown ground beef or turkey and season heavily.
Build a bowl using arugula, protein and potatoes.
Add an avocado for healthy fat and sauerkraut for gut health.
If you are not eliminating dairy for inflammation, then add some goat cheese for additional flavor and extra protein.
