This sweet dog is learning to walk on a leash and would like to find his forever home.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Scuba, a one-year-old male Shar-Pei Pit mix.
“He is a super friendly kid that loves to lean on you for attention,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News. “He is still learning to walk on a leash, but he is picking it up very well.”
Scuba has lived with several other dogs and has done well, but a meet and greet is always recommended.
He is partially vaccinated, microchipped, heart worm negative and on prevention.
Cider is a three-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“She is friendly, but a little standoffish and tends to ignore people,” Serena said. “She hisses when you first start petting her, but doesn't act with aggression once she gets used to your touch.
“We believe she would do well in a quiet home or as a barn or shop cat.”
Cider is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped. She has been at the animal shelter since October.
