This sweet guy has been at the shelter almost 8 months. He needs a family to love him.
One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Muchacho, a two to three-year-old male pit mix.
“This handsome guy is a big ol' wiggle rump,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“This fun-sized guy is good on a leash and riding in cars. He is good with other dogs, but does not like to share his food or toys with them.”
A meet and greet is always recommended for families with other animals in the home.
Muchacho does ok with cats, but tries to avoid them.
“We do not recommend him being around livestock because he barks at them,” Serena said.
“He does have some separation anxiety if left home alone, either in a crate or loose.”
Muchacho is neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped.
He has been at the shelter since July 2024.
Snow Drop is a two to three-year-old female domestic shorthair.
“This beautiful girl is very sweet and loves attention,” Serena said. “She is a huge cuddle bug.
“She is good with other cats and kids, but can be iffy with dogs.”
Snow Drop is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
