One of this week’s featured pets up for adoption at the Erath County Humane Society is Lucy, a seven to eight-year-old female Terrier mix.
“This little lady loves to snuggle, play with toys and go on walks,” ECHS executive director Serena Wright told Beneath the Surface News.
“She likes riding in cars, especially when you are taking her for her favorite treat - a pup cup.”
Lucy is potty and crate-trained, walks on a leash and does very well when left home alone.
“She is very passionate about her person and can be protective of them,” Serena said.
“She does not like other animals and should be the only pet in the home.”
Lucy does not like to be grabbed or picked up, so should probably be in an adult-only home.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and heart worm negative.

Ghibli is a three to four-year-old-male domestic shorthair.
“This big handsome boy loves attention,” Serena said. “He doesn't like to be held for long, but will allow you to pick him up.
“He likes to lounge around and get pets.”
Ghibli is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and litter box trained.
