This tasty (and spicy) recipe for Cajun shrimp and sausage won't ruin your diet.

Forget everything you’ve heard about Cajun food being horribly fattening.


It is possible to get the same spicy great taste without all of that extra fat and this recipe for Cajun shrimp and sausage will be enough to convince you.

WHAT’S IN IT


8 oz. turkey sausage


8 oz. large shrimp, peeled and deveined


4 cups riced cauliflower


1 cup red bell pepper, diced


1 tbsp minced garlic


1 cup garlic diced tomatoes


2 tsp olive oil


Old Bay or Creole seasoning


HOW TO MAKE IT


Saute garlic and bell pepper until tender, add cauliflower and cook until tender.


Place shrimp and sausage on a cooking sheet; spritz with olive oil spray and roast in a 400-degree oven until shrimp is cooked.


This dish works well with roasted broccoli as an additional veggie.
