Tickets to The Big Cheese on sale now; 2nd annual event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters Erath County.

You could use a big bowl of mac and cheese right now.

If you play your cards right and purchase tickets to The Big Cheese benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County, you’ll soon be enjoying America’s favorite comfort food. 

This year’s mac and cheese cookoff begins at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery.

“We are back for our second annual Big Cheese,” BBBS executive director Sarah McNeal-Weaver told Beneath the Surface News. 

“We looking for mac and cheese chefs, sponsors and cheese lovers to attend. This event was such a great time last year, so put it on your calendar.

“I assure you that it won’t disappoint.”

Amateur and professional cooks are invited to enter the contest with their own twist on mac and cheese.

Adult tickets are $10 and $5 for children and can be purchased here.

Tickets allow you to sample mac and cheese from each of the vendors and gives you a vote for the People's Choice Award.
