White Horse Christian Academy invites public to celebrate groundbreaking on new facility.
White Horse Christian Academy is inviting the community to help celebrate the groundbreaking of its gorgeous new facility opening next fall.
The event will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the school, located at 1155 CR 177 in Stephenville.
“We are replacing the portables buildings with a new facility,” executive director and founder Vanessa Halford told Beneath the Surface News. “We are excited to create a more secure and energy-efficient building for our kiddos.”
White Horse Christian Academy first opened in 2016 with 13 students.
Today, the school, which includes kindergarten through 12th grade, has 172 students on campus and 165 online. There is also a lengthy waiting list.
“We will keep some of the older buildings for elective courses and office space for our distance program,” Vanessa said.
The new facility will include 15 new classrooms and office space constructed by Prime Metal Buildings & Components.
White Horse has made a name for itself with its 15-to-one classroom ratio and four-day school week.
“I fully support public education, but not all kids fit the mold and sometimes they need additional support in different areas,” Vanessa said.
“We are looking into adding more trade classes and a mentorship program where our high school kids can shadow careers that they are interested in.
“We hope the community will come out to our groundbreaking and see all of the wonderful things that are happening here.”
When I was writing my dissertation, the literature review section seemed like the hardest part. I decided to buy a dissertation literature review from an expert service, and it was a game-changer. They helped ensure all the necessary sources were included and presented logically. This support was essential in getting my dissertation done on time.
